Wireless remote control for our heavy duty
Lewmar V3 windlass
Having a powerful, robust windlass is important, but making the
job of controlling that windlass is just as important. Lewmar's
3 button wireless remote (Lewmar also has available a 5 button model to
include a bow thruster) is a fantastic addition to our Lewmar V3
Vertical windlass.
Simple, straight-forward operation, coupled with a long range
and powerful transmitter make the Lewmar 3 button windlass
remote a "must have" for every windlass installation.
Our Lewmar remote works at least 80 feet away from the windlass
control box!
The Lewmar 3-button windlass remote controller has raised the
bar on windlass control options and pushes forward with Lewmar's
continued commitment to delivering the best.
The Lewmar 3-button windlass remote received a 5-star rating
from The Mad Dogs.
Make sure you have enough pulling power!
Although Lewmar's documentation would have steered us towards the V2
Windlass for our size of vessel, we opted for the
Lewmar V3
windlass with it's larger
motor, increased lifting power and faster line speed.

Solid construction, great range (min 80 feet on Mad
Dog Voyager) . Excellent unit!
Pros: No more electric deck switches that short out or can be
accidental activated
while moving about
on the deck.
