About this image:
Cruise ship the Norwegian Pearl in Ketchikan, Alaska!
This is the Norwegian Pearl, a Norwegian Cruise Lines cruise
ship that we saw in Ketchikan, Alaska.
The Norwegian Pearl sports a fancy paint job that seems to
be a trend of the Norwegian Cruise Line vessels. It appears
that the paint job is a row of multi-colored Pearls, being
true to her name, Norwegian Pearl. In order to limit the
impact the cruise ships have on the
Humpback Whales and the
entire ecosystem of Glacier Bay National Park, Alaska, there
is a limit to which companies may enter the Park. Norwegian
Cruise Lines, NCL, is one of the companies that are
permitted to carry passengers into the Park.
