Page information: The following photos have been added to the photo albums out of date. They were photos that we had originally, for one reason or another, decided not to include on the website. However on looking at them again we decided they are quite nice and should be included as well.

Here we are slowly plowing our way through the ice debris from Johns Hopkins and Gillman Glaciers. Traveling through this pack of ice is fine as long as you take it slow and easy.

Casement Glacier, Glacier Bay National Park

This photo is one of the clearest views of Casement Glacier we have seen. Taken from the West side of Drake Island, Casement Glacier is situated on the far East side of Glacier Bay. Notice the fog bank hanging low over the water in the bottom of the picture.

This Grizzly (Alaska Brown) Bear is walking along the shore right at the waters edge. Stopping once in a while to take a mouth full of berries, he was oblivious to us and traveling in his own little world.

About this photo: “Watch that first step... It's a doozy!”
This pair of Bald Eagles were sitting very alert and attentively watching the water for any sign of a snack swimming by in Johns Hopkins Inlet. Apparently, standing barefoot on a chunk of frozen ice is not a problem for these birds. Brrrrr!!
