Seven Seas Cruising Association or SSCA Club details

The Seven Seas Cruising Association is the world’s largest member organization for boaters and particularly “cruisers” - people who usually live on their boats full time (or close to it) and travel to the far corners of the world.

There is a very strong bond among SSCA members and felt it was finally time we joined SSCA. The Mad Dogs are looking forward to the camaraderie of membership and of belonging to such a strong group of like minded people.

There are several common beliefs held by members of SSCA, but we applaud the guiding principle of the “Clean Wake” more than any other. Stated very simply leaving a “Clean Wake” is leaving things better than you found them. Wherever you visit, ensure that fellow and future boaters are also welcome by extending courtesy, respect and appreciation for the locations you visit. If everyone, including landlubbers lived following the “Clean Wake” guideline, the world would be a lot nicer place to live.

As of the writing of this, we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our burgee (club flag) and will fly it high and proud. We’ll be out there looking for fellow members - you be looking for us as well!
